This module identifies peripheral anatomy on both radiographs and digital subtraction angiograms. Equipment required for peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures is listed. The module also discusses flow rates, frame rates, projections, contrast injections, positioning, and imaging techniques for peripheral procedures. Indications, contraindications, and complications for various procedures are discussed. The most common pathologies and treatments for peripheral arterial and venous systems are also described.
