Bladder cancer accounts for an estimated 4.2% of new
cancer cases and almost 3% of cancer deaths. Though incidence of bladder cancer
has decreased slightly in recent years, death rates have remained stable. This
article discusses types of bladder cancer, as well as risk factors, diagnosis,
treatment such as radiation therapy, and prevention.
