This presentation covers communication techniques for a variety of patient demographics, including age, disability, gender, and cultural background. Establishing rapport through verbal and non-verbal communication will be discussed, as well as tips on navigating cultural misunderstandings and communication gaps related to age, disability, or gender. Communication with patients and family experiencing the end of life will also be discussed.
