This presentation will define molecular imaging, the associated
imaging origin of existing tumor structures, and the variety of imaging
modalities used to identify tumors in a patient. The panel will discuss the
growing biomedical research discipline of molecular imaging and how the science
allows for the visualization, classification, and quantification of biologic
processes on a cellular and subcellular level in human patients. Additionally,
the group will evaluate the current and potential infrastructure of imaging
departments performing molecular imaging procedures. The origins of disease
processes and their development into pathophysiologic conditions also will be
examined.
Free access is included with membership. All titles for which you have not previously earned CE credit appear in your CE library.
