This chapter will introduce you to the technical aspects of transcranial color Doppler imaging. You will learn about the clinical applications and diagnostic criteria of transcranial imaging, and common errors associated with performing and interpreting these exams. Methods to distinguish normal from abnormal intracranial arterial anatomy also are covered.
