Artificial intelligence (AI) is growing in popularity and intrigue within multiple facets of public consumption, and computed tomography (CT) is not excluded from AI’s incorporation into everyday applications. During this ASRT Live presentation, attendees will be given the opportunity to become familiar with AI terminology and provided with a brief overview of its learning methods. Once attendees have some AI foundational knowledge, they will explore the challenges and/or opportunities of AI within the health care system and medical imaging. The presentation will conclude with an introduction to current AI systems and practices currently used in CT imaging.
