This webinar will discuss caring for patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The panel will also discuss the unique medical, sensory and communication needs of this patient population while providing insight into effective communication techniques, modifications that may be necessary or helpful in examination settings and targeted training and resources for health care providers, including family members and caregivers, to enhance understanding of IDD and improve care delivery.
