Patient monitors enable care providers to observe and assess a patient’s physiological, hemodynamic, respiratory, and cardiac status. This article discusses the types of monitors often used in interventional radiology, invasive cardiology, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging, as well as describes the key features and the routinely monitored parameters.
