This presentation is about the reality of breast cancer. As a breast imaging professional, you always know your patients are scared, and that a breast cancer diagnosis is possible for anyone. I review my journey step by step through this unbelievable time in my life. The studies, procedures and images presented show the entire series of events. I will discuss the meetings with the surgeon and medical oncologist, as well as how support from my family and friends kept me strong and hoping for the best. Most of all, we will discuss how this experience made me a better person and professional.
