This presentation will focus on the daily MR screening and safety challenges faced by MRI technologists, and will help empower them to be confident in their practice as professionals at the forefront of MRI.  It is of fundamental importance that MRI technologists are the experts in MR screening and safety, as they are the gatekeepers of MR Safety Zones III and IV.  In this lecture, we will review and share many important MR screening and safety challenges which have a direct effect on patient-care.  In gaining and reinforcing this knowledge, MRI technologists will identify, implement, and monitor best practices in an MRI environment confidently and competently.
