This presentation will review material from the Image Acquisition and Technical Evaluation section of the 2017 ARRT Radiography Examination Content Specifications. We will discuss selection of technical factors and how they affect image quality, standard definitions of terms, technique charts, automatic exposure control, image identification, and digital imaging characteristics including spatial resolution, detector elements, contrast resolution and image signal.
