This presentation will examine radiographic procedures of the lower extremity based on the 2017 ARRT Radiography Examination content specifications. During this presentation, we will examine procedures of the toes, feet, calcaneus, ankle, tibia/fibula, knee/patella, and the femur. For each procedure, we will review specific radiographic imaging techniques of the lower extremity. These include things such as the central ray, positioning landmarks, and evaluation criteria based on current radiographic positioning literature. Images demonstrating correct and incorrect positioning will also be reviewed. ???
