Since early in the development of MRI, gadolinium-based contrast has been used to enhance static images of the human body. Combined with unenhanced static imaging, radiologist are able to detect changes to anatomy. However, quantifying those changes is very difficult. By leveraging ultra-short scan times and imaging while the contrast passes through tissues, radiologists are now able to quantify the aggressiveness of these anatomical changes. ???
