MRI is a critically important diagnostic tool and generally very safe. However, in the absence of attention to the risks, the rate of accidents continue to rise. Most of these accidents are preventable, and the majority of reported accidents are related to radiofrequency burns. This presentation focuses on the role the radiofrequency field plays in MRI Safety.
