MRI is generally a very safe and critically important diagnostic tool. However, tragic accidents related to the strength and behavior of the static magnetic field have occurred, and therefore require special training and attention to prevent. This presentation focuses on the safety concerns and precautions specific to the magnetic field (B₀).
