This presentation will explain the most common types of radionuclide therapies performed in the nuclear medicine department. This session will focus specifically on radio iodine treatment for hyperthyroidism and thyroid carcinoma, as well as various radionuclide therapies for the palliative treatment of bone metastases. Clinical relevance, procedural methods, radiation safety and results will be discussed.
