Instructor: Denise Case, M.B.A., M.S.LM., R.T. (R)(MR)(CT)(M)
This presentation will refresh technologists on the foundational concepts of MRI. During this presentation, technologists will learn about electromagnetic induction, the Larmor equation, pulse sequence parameters, and an overview of the critical components of image acquisition. Knowledge of the three necessary electromagnetic fields, their components, and their unique contribution to the acquired MR image will aid technologists in their ability to optimize scanning parameters. Specifically, technologists will add to their understanding of the static magnetic field, time-varying magnetic fields, and radiofrequency fields to comprehend advanced concepts in MRI. This foundation will help technologists gain a greater awareness of relaxation factors, intrinsic mechanisms, and manipulating extrinsic parameters to achieve the desired image contrast.
Free access is included with membership. All titles for which you have not previously earned CE credit appear in your CE library.
