This presentation will cover the basic ultrasound fundamentals, and discuss what ultrasound images can display. Benign and suspicious solid lesion features will be discussed, as well as the patient pathway for these features and what should be biopsied. Methods for core biopsy and vacuum-assisted biopsies are described, as well as the breast clip. Post-imaging and patient care recommendations are also covered.
