This presentation will introduce the participant to abdominal sonography. We will review anatomical structures and sonographic landmarks of the solid abdominal organs. This discussion will include sonographic planes, artifacts, and scan limitations faced during sonographic evaluation of the abdominal structures. This presentation will guide participants through normal abdominal anatomy as well as common pathologies encountered during sonographic evaluation.
