This presentation will review how digital imaging converts the radiographic image from analog to digital format. The effect of kVp, mAs, and distance on the formation of the digital radiographic image will be discussed, along with the importance of collimation for image quality and patient dose. The differences between patient and receptor exposure will also be covered.
