This module is an in-depth discussion of current fluoroscopy equipment. After taking this module, you will be able to describe the process of image intensification, explain the function of flat panel detector arrays, and identify the components of fluoroscopy systems. In addition, this module defines and describes flux, brightness, and minification gain, image output and readout, and the various advantages of image intensifier and flat panel systems.
