This presentation reviews the modalities used to assist mammography in the diagnosis of breast cancer, including 3-D mammography, ultrasound, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and contrast-enhanced mammography. Invasive procedures performed under imaging guidance will also be discussed. Some of the procedures reviewed include galactography, cyst and fine needle aspiration, and core biopsy with or without vacuum.
