This presentation will cover gamma camera functionality including
the various crystal properties and photo multiplier tube (PMT) operation. The appropriate use of collimation and the difference
between static and dynamic imaging will also be covered. The attendee will develop an understanding of how these individual camera
components operate, the role each component plays in the imaging detection
process, and how the gamma camera creates synergy amongst the individual
components.
