Various techniques will be discussed, including establishing rapport through good communication, obtaining a detailed patient history, addressing risks and benefits, obtaining informed consent with a summary of the origin or history of informed consent, pre- and post-examination instructions, and how to address questions about other imaging modalities and exams.
