This presentation will review the internal and external components of breast anatomy. The various ways of describing pathology locations within the breast, and the types of tissue that make up the breast are also discussed. The mammary glands, ducts, and cell layers are explained in detail, along with a review of the breasts vascular and lymphatic systems. Finally, breast density types and their BI-RADS assessment categories are discussed.
