This presentation will cover cardiac imaging, specifically myocardial perfusion and MUGA imaging. Rest and stress protocols will be covered for both exams. Variations in stress protocols will be discussed to include exercise and chemically induced options. One and two-day protocols are discussed for myocardial perfusion imaging. Myocardial perfusion images indicating normal cardiac function, ischemia, and infarct will be discussed. Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction (LVEF) and wall motion will be discussed for both myocardial perfusion and MUGA exams.
