This presentation will explain the neck soft tissues visualized by ultrasound. Anatomy and sonographic landmarks of the thyroid and surrounding structures will be reviewed. This discussion will cover sonographic procedures and scan limitations faced during sonographic evaluation of the thyroid and lateral neck. This presentation will also guide users through normal anatomy of the neck soft tissues, as well as common pathologies encountered during sonographic evaluation.
