Computed Tomography is the gold standard for imaging pathologies associated with the thorax as well as the soft tissues of the neck. To successfully accomplish these exams, CT technologists must have a solid understanding of basic anatomy, parameter optimization, CT physics and intravenous contrast administration. This presentation will cover the basics of scanning the neck and chest, as well as common protocols for these exams.
